May is Mental Health Awareness Month which is a yearly campaign that helps to raise awareness of mental health issues by helping to diminish the stigma that is sometimes associated with it.

Recent studies have shown that coloring is a great “prescription” for relaxation, alleviating stress and boosting mental clarity. Focusing on the coloring activity actually helps us not to focus on our worries. Coloring also takes us back to our childhoods, a period in our lives that was less stressful.

At ds, we have a large selection of adult/children coloring books all with very unique designs and themes. We hope you stop by to grab a book and pencil set and start coloring.
