Since 1884, earthenware sardines have been produced to mark the 13th century event that occurred at The Feast of St. Anthony honoring the Patron Saint of Lisbon, Portugal. When no one would listen to his sermons, he went to the shore to speak to the fish. Remarkably, hundreds of sardines raised their heads out of the water as if they were listening to St. Anthony.
Come to design solutions to see our sardines swimming on the wall – you may hang them on your wall or use them as spoon rests.
We may even tell you a fish tale!
